How can I travel from Ben Gurion Airport to the West Bank?

Travel from Ben Gurion Airport to:

East Jerusalem Destinations
From Ben Gurion Airport, it is recommended that you take a licensed taxi service. They are located at Terminal 3 (new Arrival and Departure Terminal) on the ground level (G). You can choose between a private taxi called (in Hebrew) munit or a shared taxi service called (in Hebrew) sherut. The sherut company to/from Jerusalem is called Nesher. Their service is located on the right hand side when exiting the airport building.

The main Sherut licensed taxis companies are:
Nesher Tours (transportation to and from Jerusalem), Tel.: 02-6257227
Hadar Lod (transportation to all parts of the country), Tel.: 03-9711103
Amal (transportation to Haifa and the northern areas), Tel.: 04-8662324

Nesher service drives Jerusalem– Airport – Jerusalem 24/7, including on Shabbat (Saturday).
Shared-taxi means that you have to wait until the car is full, which might take 20 minutes or more. If the taxi is filling slowly, you can pay the driver the fare(s) of the unfilled seat(s) and the driver will leave.

Before departure the driver will ask the destination of each passenger then set the route. Price is standard.

If you drive to an East Jerusalem destination, it is likely that the driver will not drive deep inside East Jerusalem but instead drop you off at an Old City gate or at the entrance of an East Jerusalem neighborhood. Choose a central point from where you can take an East Jerusalem private taxi to your final destination or let friends pick you up. Google Maps is very useful for orientation and to set a meeting point.
