Wadi Qelt

Hijazi Travel invites you to join us for a one day-hike in the spectacular Wadi Qelt. A truly unforgettable experience, we will walk in the deep valley and along ancient aqueducts built to channel water from the three springs–Farah/Parat, Fawwar, and Qelt–to various points.

From our meeting point in Bethlehem, we drive to Ein Fawwar (Spring) and walk down to Ein Qelt. Our visit includes the grain mills and a walk by the aqueduct enjoying the landscape and the flora and fauna. Along the way we will have lunch and tea break. Our day ends with a visit to St. George’s Monastery and Herod’s winter palaces at Tulul abu el-Alayiq.

The BIG SURPRISE…enjoying the fish cleaning and massaging your feet next to the spring!
