‘Awarta – Jericho Walk

Day 1:  Walking from Awarta to Duma (6h + breaks)
In the morning, leaving for Awarta village (5 kms southeast of Nablus) to Walk to Mount Urma. Enjoy traditional tea made on the fire. Observe the archeological site with a panoramic view of Nablus area and the beautiful landscape. Walk to Aqraba through old olive groves hundreds of years old. After the lunch break, continue the walk to Duma, a small quite and lovely village south of Nablus, meeting the local people and farmers. Dinner & overnight with local family in Duma.

Day 2: Walking from Duma to Kefer Malek (6h + breaks)
Walking  from Duma to Kefer Malek, one of the beautiful villages in Ramallah east hills. After the picnic lunch, walk to a Ein Samia, a natural water source. Continue to Kefer Melek to meet our local host families, sharing with them food and memories. Overnight with host families.

Day 3: Walking from Kefer Melek to Taybeh (5h + breaks)
Walking from Kefer Malek through the highest hills in West Bank and the olive groves, crossing the quarries of stones. Picnic lunch, then walk the ancient Christian village of Taybeh. Visit the Byzantine Church, tour the old village. Dinner and overnight in the guest house run by the local Catholic Church.

Day 4: Walking Ein Samia to Auja (6h walk + breaks)
In the morning we drive back to Ein Samia, beginning our walk towards the Auja area in the Jordan Valley through a spectacular valley. Explore two different kinds of climates and landscape. Learn about the flora and founa of the area. End by the Auja spring, where we can relax and swim. Drive back to Bethlehem / Ramallah. End of the trip.
